Swinger Cartop II™ User Guide

1. Install no-mar feet by pushing feet into holes on bottom of end cap and pressing drive pin in completely to lock foot in hole.
2. Firmly press 2 Cross Tubes into bottom holes of one Upright, then install Cross Tubes in bottom holes of second Upright. Place assembly on flat surface to remove twist, then stand on end and press or tap firmly to lock Cross Tubes in place.
3. Measure 6” (150mm) down from the top of sign face and mark edge. This is where the threaded Cross Rod will slide through sign.
4. Attach sign to Uprights using Threaded Cross Rod, Flange Nuts and Knobs.
   • attach Flange Nut to one end of Threaded Cross Rod – flange out
   • insert Threaded Cross Rod into sign face at mark (6” from top)
   • attach Flange Nut to end of Threaded Cross rod – flange out
   • slide ends of Threaded Cross Rod through holes in top of Uprights and attach Knobs
   • tighten Knobs firmly
5. Insert free end of Nylon Strap in slot on bottom of Upright, twist end of strap 1-3 times, and feed through second Upright before lacing through Quick Release Buckle (see diagram). To release Buckle squeeze sides of Buckle. Note: twisting Nylon Strap reduces wind noise.
6. Attach sign to vehicle by placing on roof and running Nylon Strap through the door openings on both sides before snapping Buckle closed and tensioning strap firmly. Note: the Nylon Strap goes through the door opening when the door is open. The door closes over the Nylon Strap.

Helpful Hints:

• Decorate Sign Face before attaching to Uprights.
• Try to keep message large and brief for maximum impact.
• Try different messages on each side for more interest.
• Remember, bigger and bolder graphics make for better signs

CAUTION:

SWINGER cartop sign is designed for parked cars. DO NOT drive with sign on roof of vehicle. Remove sign from vehicle in high winds.
